Q. Max, What are your plans after High School? If going to College, what College (if you know) and what do you want to study there? Will you be playing hockey anywhere after HS?

● MAX: After high school I want to go to App State, I have no idea what I want to study yet, but I have a few ideas, I think playing on the club team would be fun, so if I have time for it I don't see why I wouldn't.

Q. What is your favorite school subject?

● MAX: My favorite school subject is History

Q. Who is/was your favorite Teacher or Coach and why?

● MAX: My favorite teacher ever was my 7th-grade history teacher, Mr. Sealey, he was really chill and he shared a lot of similar interests with me, so we got along well.

Q. What person (other than your parents) has had the greatest influence on you and why?

● MAX: I think my coaches have had a lot of influence on me especially Coach Mark (MacDonald), I basically have had to see Coach Mark 3-5 times a week for the past 4 years so he's kinda like a secondary parental figure.

Q. What is your favorite memory of your Triad Storm Hockey career so far?

● MAX: I think one of my favorite memories was last year during my last year of U16 when we won that tournament down in Charlotte, and we absolutely rolled that team from Florida after we tied them the night before, and then went on to win the championship.

Q. What kind of music do you like to listen to?

● MAX: I really like anything from the '50s to the '90s, but mostly classic rock, I really like The Beatles and Steeley Dan.

Q. What is your favorite movie?

● MAX: My favorite movie is The Big Lebowski.

Q. What is your favorite book?

● MAX: My favorite book is Fahrenheit 451.

Q. What is your favorite food?

● MAX: I really like the original Italian from Jersey Mikes.

Q. How many siblings do you have and their names?

● MAX: I have one brother named Bennett (14U) and one sister named Cate.

Q. How many pets do you have and what type?

● MAX: I have one dog, her name is Rooney and she's a German Shepherd.

Q. If you had the chance to have dinner with one person from history (living or dead) who would it be and why?

● MAX: I'd probably have dinner with Paul McCartney because he is probably one of my favorite musicians of all time and I think it would be very interesting to sit down and talk with him.

Q. What do you feel has been your biggest accomplishment so far?

● MAX: I think my biggest accomplishment is getting my IB Diploma.

Q. If your life was made into a movie, what actor would you want to play you?

● MAX: I think if there was a movie made about me I think Willem Dafoe could play me if he grew out his hair a tad.

Q. What is one thing you cannot live without?

● MAX: Music

Q. What is the best vacation you ever took?

● MAX: When I was 16, I went up to Chicago for my birthday and I saw a hawks game which was really cool.

Q. Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

● MAX: In 10 years I see myself with a nice job and maybe a cool house.
