Carolina Amateur Hockey Association is pleased to announce Coaching Education Program Clinic dates for the 2015-2016 season. If you are coaching this season, please check with your local association to determine if a clinic is necessary. As a reminder, if your CEP Level is expired or is expiring on December 31, 2015, you must attend a clinic or recertify your Level 3 (if eligible) byDecember 31, 2015.

The Level 4 Clinic will be held September 26-27 in Raleigh, NC and is open to all coaches who hold a current or expired Level 3 certification. Coaches of national tournament bound teams (Youth Tier I 14U, 16U and 18U; Youth Tier II 16U and 18U; Girls Tier I 14U, 16U and 19U; Girls Tier II 16U and 19U) must complete Level 4 in their fourth season of coaching, or first season of eligibility, regardless of their expiration date. All other coaches must complete Level 4 in their ninth season of coaching (Youth and Girls Tier I 12U and below; Youth and Girls Tier II 14U and below; and all Travel, Recreational or House). There is one Level 4 Clinic held in CAHA each year. If you need to certify at Level 4 and miss this clinic it will be necessary to travel outside of the Affiliate to obtain your certification. Level 4 does not expire -- coaches who attain Level 4 are not required to attend any further certification clinics.
