Rhett Pressley

Q. Rhett - What are your plans after High School? If going to college, what college and what do you want to study there? Will you be playing hockey anywhere after HS?

● Rhett: I would like to go to college, either ASU or UNCW. I’m not too sure what I will study there but I would be interested in playing club hockey for either.

Q. What is your favorite school subject?

● Rhett: English

Q. What person has had the greatest influence on you and why?

● Rhett: My brother, Wyatt. Ever since I was little, he made sure that I didn’t become too much of a wimp by making me stand up for myself.

Q. What kind of music do you listen to?

● Rhett: Alternative pop or alternative rock.

Q. What is your favorite movie?

● Rhett: Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. That movie is my childhood.

Q. What is your favorite food?

● Rhett: My mother’s homemade pineapple casserole.

Q. If you had the chance to have dinner with one person from history who would it be and why?

● Rhett: Ryan Reynolds. I feel as though he and I could share a personal bond because he is so funny.

Q. If your life was made into a movie, what actor would you want to play you?

● Rhett: Since I just used my Ryan Reynolds pass, I’ll go with someone who really looks like me. Dwayne Johnson.

Q. What is one thing you cannot live without?

● Rhett: My mom. There’s no way I can go a week without her help.

Q. Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

● Rhett: Hopefully in a pimped out mustang or something snazzy like that.

Q. Feel free to add, a note to your parents, current teammates, coaches or anything you would like to say that wasn’t answered in the questions

● Rhett: I’ve had a lot of fun playing hockey with all of my teammates over the years since joining Triad. The coaches, the players, and the places we visited will all be remembered for the rest of my life. I am going to miss them all. I’m very grateful I got the chance to understand them and build friendships. Of course, none of this would have happened if it weren’t for my mom and dad. I’m more than thankful that they introduced me to hockey when I was young, and I honestly don’t know where I would be if they had not.

Good Luck Rhett & Enjoy the rest of the 2021-22 Youth Hockey season! Congrats to You and all of the 18U Triad Storm Seniors - Class of 2022!
