Triad Hockey Alliance Updates for the 2021-22 Season!

OPEN Volunteer Positions

The Triad Storm’s 2021-22 BOARD OF DIRECTORS—officially The Triad Hockey Alliance (THA), a joint partnership between the Greensboro Youth Hockey Association and the Winston Salem Youth Hockey Association—is pleased to announce the individuals committed to lead, coordinate and serve youth hockey in North Carolina’s Triad region for the upcoming season:

 

Dean Christy (336.406.1913 / dchristy3323@gmail.com) will serve as the Executive Director overseeing our organization’s overall ice and off-ice programs and administration.

 

Director of the Disciplinary Action Committee will be Paul Jackson.  Our Finance Director is Rob Emms and our Non-Profit Tax Coordinator is Janice Burton.  

 

The THA Player Developmental Director is Jeff MarkhamSteve Genaway has agreed to serve as the Recreational Hockey “REC” Coordinator and will oversee our Recreational Coaches.  Our Travel Head Coaches are:

Pete Kriegler – 10U

Trevor Frenette  - 12U White

Dan Speeney  - 12U Black

Jeff Dowden  - 14U

Chris Holleran – 16U

Mark MacDonald – 18U

 

Our new Operations Director Todd Scheid will work closely with our Facilities/Scheduling Coordinator Andy Kyser and the Referee Coordinator John Quakenbush.  

 

Sally Anglin is our new Administrative Director and will work closely with:

*Registrar/SafeSport Coordinator Chris Gustafsson

*Web Master Jed Firestone

*Tournament Coordinator Abbie Emms

*Team Manager Coordinator Leigh Workman

*Equipment & Apparel Coordinator Dani Bekdache

 

With a keen purpose to grow awareness of youth hockey, Shawn Gaudet de Lestard (336.529.3491 / shawngdelestard@kw.com) has joined us as our Marketing Director. This role will work closely with:

*Social Media Coordinator Carrie Collins

We’re still looking for volunteers for the following positions:

*Sponsorship/Fundraising/Grants Coordinator (vacant);

*Communications Coordinator (vacant).

 

 

No one succeeds alone, and we need YOU! The collective and consistent efforts of these individuals and those who will soon volunteer to fill the critical vacancies will be instrumental in our continued success on and off the ice.
