We are excited to announce our spring hockey offerings open to anyone.  We will be hosting three different clinics leading up to tryouts.  There will be a plus/minus league, skater skills, and goalie skills sessions.  Limited spots will be available in each clinic and the registration for all three programs will open on Monday, March 14 at 12 noon.  

 

Spring Plus/Minus League

• $90 - 6 Game Sessions
• Wednesdays, April 6th-May 11th
• Group 1 - Birth years 2010-2015* - 6:40-7:40pm
• Group 2 - Birth Years 2004-2009* - 7:50-8:50pm
• Available to ALL Hockey Players
• Teams may be adjusted weekly for parity
• 30 Skater slots / 3 Goalie slots available

Skater Skills Clinic

 6-Week Clinic, On-Ice at the Winston Salem Fairgrounds Annex AND Greensboro Ice House Beginning April 4, 2022

 

On Ice - 6 Sessions - PLAYERS MAY ONLY SIGN UP FOR  1 SESSION - PLEASE CHOOSE A or B - NOT BOTH.  All sessions are limited to 35 skaters.   REGISTRATIONS LIMITED TO CURRENT THA PLAYERS FOR THE FIRST 48 HOURS.

 

Session A - 2010 birth year and younger

Weeks 1-3  (4/4, 4,11, 4/18)

Monday - 5:30-6:30 - Location: Winston-Salem Fairgrounds Annex

Weeks 4-6  (4/25, 5/2, 5/9)

Monday - 6:40-7:40 - Location: Greensboro Ice House

 

Session A - 2009 Birth Year and Older

Weeks 1-3  (4/4, 4,11, 4/18)

Monday - 6:45-7:45 - Location: Winston-Salem Fairgrounds Annex

Weeks 4-6  (4/28, 5/5, 5/12)

Thursday - 6:40-7:40 - Location: Greensboro Ice House

 

Session B - 2010 birth year and younger

Weeks 1-6 - (4/5, 4,12, 4/19, 4/26, 5/3, 5/10)

Tuesday - 7:00-8:00 - Location: Greensboro Ice House

 

Session B - 2009 Birth Year and Older

Weeks 1-6 (4/5, 4,12, 4/19, 4/26, 5/3, 5/10)

Tuesday - 8:10-9:10 - Location: Greensboro Ice House

 

All sessions will be designed to prepare players for tryouts.   One-half station based skills run by Jeff Markham. One-half Power skating sessions run by John Mastromonica.

 

Skills include:  Body Contact & Checking* - Age related, Skating, Puck Control, Passing, Shooting

Who: All rising Squirts (2012-13 birth year) - 18U, THA and non-THA players

Registration: Available online only, NO walk ups will be accepted

Goalie Skills Clinic

On Ice - 5 Sessions - Goalies ONLY - (½ Ice)

Sundays: April 3, 10, 24, May 1, 8

Location: Greensboro Ice House

• 10:30am - 11:30am - All ages - 15 spaces available

 

All sessions will include warm-up movement drills followed by station-based drills designed to prepare goalies for tryouts.  Kelly Curl will be leading the sessions.  

 

Who: Birth years 2004-2013, THA and non-THA players

Registration: Available online only , NO walk ups will be accepted

Cost: $150.00 for 5 weeks
