Dear THA Members and Families,
On behalf of the THA Board, staff and me I want to welcome you to the 2024-2025 hockey season. It is with great pleasure and humility that I write to you as the newly elected President of THA. I look forward to serving the organization this season.
First and foremost, I extend my deepest gratitude to all of you for entrusting me with this vital role. I am honored to serve such a passionate and dedicated community. As a parent and a hockey enthusiast, I understand the importance of fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where our young athletes can thrive both on and off the ice.
I am not only committed to upholding the values and traditions that make our organization special, but also strive for continuous improvement and growth. The goal and mission of THA is to increase development opportunities for our members by increasing opportunities for our players to participate on teams that best match their skill level. In addition, we want to ensure a safe, positive, and enriching experience for all participants, where the love of the game is nurtured, and lifelong friendships are made.
In the coming months, we will work diligently to continue to improve our programs, facilities, and resources to better serve the needs of our organization. I am eager to collaborate with our dedicated board members, coaches, volunteers, and staff to ensure every aspect of our organization operates at the highest standard of excellence. Together we will create a culture of teamwork, sportsmanship, and camaraderie that embodies the spirit of youth hockey.
I encourage you to participate in helping our organization succeed. Whether it is volunteering your time, sharing your expertise, or cheering on our teams from the stands, your involvement is invaluable and greatly appreciated.
All are invited and encouraged to attend our annual meeting on April 21st from 4-5pm at the Hampton Inn Kernersville. A Zoom link will be provided for those who wish to attend virtually. At the meeting, we will be announcing the 2024-2025 program structure for the upcoming travel and rec teams.
