10U
The 10U level represents the foundation of competitive hockey within our organization. At this stage, players focus heavily on skating development, puck control, edge work, and understanding basic team concepts. This is where habits are formed. While maintaining a strong emphasis on fun and confidence-building.
12U
12U is where the game begins to speed up and hockey IQ becomes more important. Players are introduced to more structured systems, positional responsibilities, and situational awareness. We emphasize skill execution, decision-making, and consistency while continuing to strengthen fundamentals.
14U
14U marks a major transition point in a player’s development. The game becomes more physical, faster, and more competitive. At this level, we focus on advanced skill refinement, strength development, pace of play, and a deeper understanding of team systems. Players are expected to compete consistently and begin taking ownership of their preparation.
16U
At 16U, athletes are preparing for high school varsity, junior hockey, and higher levels of competition. Execution under pressure, conditioning, discipline, and mental toughness become critical. Players are expected to train with purpose, understand systems in detail, and demonstrate leadership qualities both on and off the ice.
18U
18U represents the final stage of youth hockey development. This level focuses on maximizing performance, refining positional identity, and preparing athletes for junior, collegiate, or post-high school opportunities. Accountability, consistency, and professionalism are emphasized as players transition toward the next phase of their hockey careers.
Triad House League
Our Rec Program is designed to provide an inclusive, development-focused environment for players of all skill levels. The emphasis is on skill growth, confidence, sportsmanship, and enjoyment of the game. Rec serves as both an entry point for new players and a strong developmental track for those building toward higher levels of competition.
