Gate City Selects

The Gate City Selects Development Program is a spring and summer hockey opportunity designed to provide consistent training, competitive game play, and a positive team environment for travel hockey players looking to stay sharp during the off-season.

This program is built for players who want structured ice time, meaningful competition, and continued development while maintaining a positive and enjoyable summer hockey experience.

Practices will start during the first week of April and conclude the second week of July. With four travel tournaments guaranteed.

Ages

  • 12U - Born 2014 - 2015 - 5 spots left
  • 14U - Born 2012 - 2013 - 4 spots left
  • 16U - Born 2010 - 2011 - 1 spot left
  • 18U - Born 2008 - 2009 - FULL

When

3/15/2026 - 7/31/2026

Roster Size

  • 15–18 skaters
  • 1–2 goalies


Final rosters may vary slightly based on tournament formats and ice availability.

Tournament Schedule:

  • Cleveland, OH - April 10–12 (18U only)
  • Jacksonsville, FL - April 17-19 (12U, 14U, 16U)
  • Pittsburgh, PA - May 15-17
  • Chesapeake, VA - June 12–14
  • Hershey, PA - July 17–18

Jerseys

Jerseys, socks & a t-shirt are included in program cost.

Cost

Total Program Cost: $1,350 per player

To provide flexibility for families, the Gate City Selects Development Program offers two payment options:

 

Option 1: Pay in Full

  • $1,350 due at registration

 

Option 2: Payment Plan

  • $250 commitment fee due at registration
  • $550 due April 1
  • $550 due May 1

 

The $250 commitment fee secures a roster spot and is applied toward the total program cost.

Extra Costs

Travel, lodging, and meals are not included

Does my child need to be a Triad Storm Travel Team player to participate?

While we do recommend travel hockey experience, your child does not need to be a regular season member of our program.
